The Black History Commemorative Jubilee is coming up and our African American Student Union has an amazing event planned. This the first time in six years that we have had this black history month event. It will take place in our amazing new theater on Saturday, February 8th, at 3 pm. There be students reciting poems, singing, signing, and more. 

After the showcase portion, they will be serving food in the cafeteria. They will be serving Backyard smoked chicken topped with Chef D’z BBQ sauce, Louisiana hot links, sweet corn, Chef D’z baked beans, sweet baked beans slowly cooked with ground beef and maple mustard syrup, vegetable lasagna, Mac and Cheese, and dinner rolls. For dessert, peach cobbler, white chocolate and carrot cake, all that amazing food. 

Tickets are on sale now for $25. You can buy them from Ms.Lisa in the front office and Ms. Lamons room in C203. This is going to be an amazing event that you don’t want to miss, so buy a ticket before they sell out!
