Donating blood can save lives. Blood cannot be manufactured, which why donating is important. By donating blood, you are helping someone. Everyone has something to live for and by being a generous donor, you’re helping a person to continue living. Pinole Valley High School is joining the Red Cross in hosting a blood drive on Thursday, November 5th. It will be held at Pinole Valley High School’s small gym. It is from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

If you are a student from PVHS and want to donate, you must be 16 years or older and have your parent’s or guardian’s consent. To sign up you must fill out this Google Form. PVHS students who sign up will receive a $5 Amazon gift card. You will also be excused from your classes on the day of the drive.

If you are not a PVHS student, to sign up go to https://www.redcrossblood.org/ and enter the sponsor code PVHS. To save some time, fill out the RapidPass.

Due to COVID-19, there has been implemented precautions to keep everyone safe:

  • Temperatures will be check before entering the drive to ensure health.
  • Hand Sanitizer (or gloves if preferred) will be provided to the donor.
  • Beds will be spaced to follow social distancing.
  • Equipment and surfaces touched by donors will be disinfected.

We hope to get many donors and help save lives!
