Last Friday on August 30th our school’s leadership put together Pinole Valley High School’s first rally of the year 2019- 2020. The rally was to welcome the students into the new school year, go over some school expectations, and have a little fun!

They started off the rally in the main gym with the band as everyone entered and sat down according to their grade level. After that, the seniors made their grand entrance and sat with the rest of the students.

Then the leadership members went over some of the expectations such as dress code with all the students, just as a reminder of the rules.

Our PVHS cheer squad also put on a performance for everyone and did a great job! They were followed by 2 students at Pinole Valley who did a dance routine and killed it! After that, there were games played and the mascot was interacting with the crowd.

Even though the rally was only about 25 minutes long, I think it was definitely a victory. Everyone had a great time, and I hope we can have more rallies as successful as this one.
