Spartan girls basketball crushed Analy in a non-league match with a score of 51-32 making this their 2nd win of the season. Team captain Kendall Cambell shares her team’s hopes, “At the beginning of the season I was worried about how our team was looking. I’m truly glad that we got some more girls that love to play ball just like I do and have a hope to play in college. This season is going to be better than any season at Pinole.” I agree with Kendall because the girls are so heavily connected on and off the court and it totally showed throughout this game. The main goal for these Spartans is to make it to state and 2-0 is a great way to start off with a bang; Lets go lady Spartans!
