Quarantine has had a big effect on my family and me. I had been very comfortable with just where I was at as a human being, but this has changed the way I look at life. Two things this year have really made me wake up to the world we live–this pandemic and also the death of Kobe. This has helped me to see that everything is not guaranteed in this life and that things can change and there is nothing you can do about it. But I was able to learn a good lesson in this experience, which is that when times of change come around then it is also a time for me to change with it. I think that I had gotten so comfortable with my routine that I was taken away from the world and its problems. I feel now when I wake up, the news is always on and there is no where I need to go at 8:05 in the morning, but I still have to discipline myself to get up at that time. But also not being able to have social interaction with my friends and seeing everyone is really hard because I can easily isolate, so I have been talking to be people every day trying to fight that habit. I feel I have taken a lot for granted because I thought days like this would never happen, so now every day I work on myself so that I can make other people happy and I go out of my way to be able to serve my loud family.
