PVHS Homecoming Parade

Senior Class Walking in the Parade

Gina Gallia, Staff Writer

Pinole Valley High School’s annual homecoming celebration kicks off with a colorful parade in the middle of the day. Homecoming has always been a special tradition at our school following a weeks worth of spirit. From Monday to Friday, students dressed up on specific spirit days to show their enthusiasm. This year the turn out was great! Along with that, students worked hard for weeks to build their Marvel-themed class floats to compete in a school competition that took place in the middle of the day on Friday. The parade marched down Pinole Valley Road from Ellerhorst Elementary School all the way to the high school where floats, clubs, students, and more were showcased to the rest of the school. The parade was a bunch of united members of the community from students of Ellerhorst to members of Pinole City Council.

Here are the floats:

Freshman Class – Black Panther

Sophomore Class – Captain America

—–

Junior Class – Spider-Man *winners*

Senior class – Thor *should have won*

The parade and the homecoming celebration were great fun for everyone!
