The Sims 4 Finally Gets Community Gallery & A Free Update!
December 20, 2019
Finally. It’s been five years since The Sims 4 came out. PC and Mac players had the community gallery since the game released on September 2, 2014.
The Sims 4 Official Twitter page had tweeted earlier saying that the community gallery would be coming to consoles in the early months of 2020. Console players would be able to interact with other players sims, houses, and pets.
Originally the console variation of the game had a gallery but only could access the Maxis team’s builds. This means no more limited gallery options and we would be able to see PC and Mac builds so it would not only be limited to Xbox and PS4 players.
This update in the game also comes with some bug fixes. It also comes with new build mode items and CAS items that include Baby Yoda. This update is free and I can’t wait. These bug fixes include sims no longer walking through walls or solid objects.
Also, the update gives more baby and toddler features. I hope the babies aren’t just dolls this time. I also hope the update introduces more skills and traits like the previous free updates.
Many simmers have already done a YouTube video about this. This includes Sims Community, The Sims Official YouTube Channel, Pixelade, and Carl’s Sim Guides.
Honestly, I think this has had to be the best year for the creators and sims players. I hope they do a lot better next year in 2020 with feature packs and updates.
