Hello Spartans, there are some more scholarships this week. There’s one for the artsy folk, there’s one for the admirers of the City of Pinole and one for African American seniors wanting to go to a 4-year college. So, check them out if you’re interested.

• Today’s scholarship is California College of the Arts Pre College program.  It is held at CCA’s Oakland campus and it offers everything from Animation, Ceramics, Comics, Fashion and Graphic Design to Illustration, Painting, and Sculpture, but it’s not cheap, that’s why you should come to the main office to attend a cool program and have them pay for it, Deadline for application March 15. • The Historical Society has an Essay Contest open to all:  If you can craft an essay on the theme–Why is Pinole ’s History Important To You? And do it in 250 words or less.  That’s like a Tweet, isn’t it? You can win. For more information check building 4.
• The Omega Psi Phi fraternity is looking for an African American senior going to a four-year college. They give out multiple $1000 honors. Check, http://www.oppf.org/scholarship/, for more details.
