Movie Review: To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before

“I’ve never gotten a love letter before.”

“To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” is a Netflix original RomCom film based off of the 2014 young-adult romance novel by Korean-American author, Jenny Han. It is about a teenage Korean-American girl named Lara Jean who goes through a crazy love story. Her and her 2 sisters, Margot and Kitty are extremely close to her and help contribute to her love life after she writes letters to all her ex-crushes.

It is a perfect film if you’re craving a passionate love story. This film includes a mixture of the Korean-American culture as well as part of high school experiences. It is best to watch with a bestie or partner along with many snacks and blankets during a cold winter’s day.

This movie is great! I definitely recommend it. It makes viewers believe in teen romance all over again. I’m very content with this film. I believe Netflix did an outstanding job with the cast. On a scale of 1-10, I would give this movie an 8. After watching the movie, you’ll want a Peter Kavinsky in your life!
