Bring On Spring

Bring On Spring

Stephanie Jimenez, Staff Writer

Spring Break:

Spring break for Pinole Valley is from April 2nd – April 6th (April 31st – April 8th including weekends). Numerous of us students do not have actual plans for the week long break due to parents working or because traveling is very expensive. It’s not pleasing or enjoyable just staying home all day doing absolutely nothing. That is why I will provide many options of activities that can be done to stay active during the break.

*Before anything else make sure to do your homework assignments!*

Things You Can Do During The Break:

  • Here’s an idea, how about read a book? There are many varieties of books that can be fascinating! Teens top 3 best sellers at the moment are A Wrinkle In Time by Madeleine
    L’Engle
, Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli and The Hate You
    Give by Angie Thomas.
  • Go plan a movie night at a friends house or even yours! Rent movies from redbox and toss pillows and blankets all over your living room. Make sure you have many snacks and board games on the side. Invite your closest friends and have a extraordinary time!
  • Plan on going to the movie theater to watch a movie and then go eat after with your closest buddies!
  • Have a cooking session with a friend! It’s actually fun to try new recipes with friends. (You can find great ones on Tastemade)
  • Have a spa day! Nothing better than a day where you can just relax. You do not necessarily have to go to a spa to have a soothing day. You can go buy face masks, squeeze a stress ball, rub your feet over a golf ball, drip cold water on your wrist, brush your hair, listen to classical music, whatever suits you!
  • Go out and be physically active with a friend. Even just jogging can be fun!
  • Get involved in the community! Go out and search for opportunities to volunteer somewhere. It will keep you busy as well as give you valuable experience
  • Go have a study date with a friend, there is no such thing as being too prepared!
  • Go out and help the environment! It is spring so why not garden?

Make the best of this break!
