Prom is a super fun occasion and it’s a great time to dress up and enjoy yourself. It is so much fun but it is no secret that it is usually very expensive to purchase the dress of your dreams for one night. If getting a dress is unrealistic for you and is preventing you from going to prom, there is a fix for that!

Thanks to Lesley West (wife of Golden State Warriors player David West) and the Oakland Public Education Fund an opportunity for you to receive a free prom dress has opened up and you should definitely take it!

Here is what it is:

All juniors and seniors in high school in the WCCUSD is welcomed to come down and receive one free dress per person, The dresses are ranging from sizes 0-30 and come in a variety of styles that you can pick yourself. These dresses are from Lesley West and the Oakland Public Education Fund to help attempt to make sure every girl has the opportunity to get a dress regardless of their financial situation.

Sunday, March 18, 2018, all day (depending on your reservation time)

Located at Rakuten Performance Center

Requirements:

You must be a junior or senior in the WCCUSD and all you need is yourself, your student ID, and transportation to and from the dress giveaway destination.
